Ciara L. Hill, is a licensed child and family therapist in Washington, DC, a National Board-Certified Counselor and a Human Services- Board Certified Practitioner. Ciara is a proud HBCU alumna of Delaware State University, where she received her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She also has a graduate degree in Community Counseling. Once a traveling “military brat” due to her father’s enlistment in the US Army, she was introduced early on to different cultures and the importance of embracing diversity. Ciara is happily married and has a son, Shiloh, to whom SHILOH AND DANDE THE LION is dedicated.
