Andria Chappell is a 37-year-old, self-published author and native of South Georgia. Her first book “Sometimes…An Adrian and Mommy Story”, a children’s picture book, highlights the ups and downs of the daily life of Andria and her 8-year-old son, Adrian, who is on the autism spectrum. After a particularly emotionally draining day with Adrian, Andria thought about other parents in similar situations who may feel like they are struggling alone in their parent/child relationships. The goal for the book is to become a series highlighting different aspects of the parent/special-needs child relationship. Andria is a full-time student with a degree in Social Psychology and a master’s in Human Services. She resides outside of Atlanta with her husband and their son, Adrian.
