Yesenia Moises is an Afro-Latina Author and Illustrator and raised in The Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx. After graduating from the internationally renowned Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Toy Design, she set off on a journey to show marginalized youth that they too can live in a world full of wonder and magic. Her work has been featured on Buzzfeed, SyFy, and NBC News, and on the pages of publishers like DC and Image. Her designs have become toys that are loved and enjoyed by kids around the world. In a time where the world can be a scary place, she wants it to be filled with big hair, bright colors, and lots of sazón from the heart!
